Marilyn Mercado is an excellent teacher of Yoga, Dance, and Art. I have studied yoga with Marilyn for many years, and she has gotten better and better at meeting each student just where they are.
For three years, she has taught dance for our arts education program, Youth ARTS Alive. Her flexibility with many styles of dance have suited the different ages and interests of our students 8 to 18. In their final performances, it amazing to see what her students have accomplished with only 15 hours of class.
I also have taught side by side with Marilyn for the Children’s Creative Project, where many schools have kept her very busy because she is so good with children K-6.
She is one of the best teachers and people I know.
